Buttoned down Civil War era women, identification unknown. Cabinet photo picked up at a Civil War exposition. It is labeled "Tapley," and "Lewiston," the latter almost certainly Maine. Investigation continues. The women appear to be of various ages; one center left is wearing a wedding ring. Could be members of some group such as nurses or teachers. Several are wearing necklaces.
